The Kartboy end
links (a.k.a. drop links) are much stronger and stiffer than the flimsy stock plastic end
links. This provides for a much more solid connection between the
sway bar and the lateral links. The result is increased response and
an effectively stiffer rear sway bar. An added bonus, besides the
improved handling, is that the Kartboy links are not prone to breakage
like the stock plastic end links have
been known to.
All the customer feed back that I have gotten on the end links has been
very positive so I was already expecting good things before I hit the
streets. When I took the car out and put it through it's paces I was
very surprised by the difference. I was expecting to notice a small
difference, but I was pleasantly surprised that the change was more than
subtle. With the stock end links the
rear end of the car felt vague, soft, and somewhat disconnected from the
front of the car. The Kartboy end links really increased response
and the rear end of the car responds much quicker to steering inputs.
The increased response helps the car rotate nicely around steering inputs
and makes lane changes as easy as a flick of the wrist . The effective increase in
sway bar torsional stiffness is apparent during solid state cornering with
the car exhibiting a slightly greater tendency to over-steer. My only
complaint is that I didn't install them sooner!
