Step 1: Remove cover from factory boost control
solenoid
Remove two fasteners from the top of the cover
and remove cover.
Step 2: Disconnect factory factory boost control
solenoid tubing
Disconnect factory tubing from the
"T" fitting and from the air inlet hose.
(Note: OAMBC tubing shown in place of factory tubing in this
picture.)
Step 3: Install the OAMBC
Place OAMBC near factory boost control
solenoid.
Run tubing through holder to be sure it does
not contact hot components.
Run shorter tube to the "T" fitting
and connect.
Run longer tube to the air inlet hose and
connect.
Be sure the arrow on the valve body points from the "T"
fitting towards the air inlet hose.
Note: Be sure the hoses are not bent or pinched, a pinched hose will
result in a maximum boost pressure of 7.5 PSI.
Step 4: Adjust the OAMBC
Use a boost gauge or a OBDII scan tool to
monitor boost pressure.
Turn knob on OAMBC fully clockwise until valve
is fully closed.
In the fully closed position the turbo will make approximately 7.5
PSI of boost pressure.
Increase boost pressure incrementally by
opening knob slightly and run car to monitor boost pressure.
Continue making small adjustments until desired
boost pressure is reached.
WARNING: Running
excessive boost will damage your engine.
