Our shifters are made from 4130 Chromoly steel and are tig welded in a precision jig. After this they are set out to be painted to last a lifetime. For 2002-2007 Subaru WRX with factory installed short shifter. If you do not have the factory installed short shifter then you will need part # TS-SS-010. The easiest way to tell if you WRX has the factory short shifter installed is by pulling down your factory shift boot, and looking at the color of the lever. If it is gold zinc plated in color, then you have the STI option installed. If it is a dark gray, then it is the stock assembly.
