| Manufacturer's Description: IAG 3mm Thick Phenolic Spacers (1 PAIR) For 2002+ Subaru WRX / STI / LGT / FXT. IAG Performance is proud to offer 3mm phenolic grade CE spacers for your 2.0L and 2.5L engine. This is a simple, cost effective way to maximize the power of your current set-up. The 3mm spacer is thick enough to provide superior thermal insulation to the factory steel gasket but thin enough to avoid clearance issues that can arise with the 8mm spacer. Why it works: The concept behind the phenolic spacer is simple: isolate the heat produced by engine from the entire intake tract. This results in a cooler path for the intake air. This leads to lower and more stable intake air temperatures (IATs). Lower IATs mean you have the capability to make more power with your current set-up. IAG phenolic spacers are engineered and manufactured at our facility in Westminster, MD. The spacer was designed using the factory Subaru head. Each spacer is then CNC machined from a single piece of phenolic. We INCLUDE 4 custom made Nitrile gaskets with your phenolic spacers: one to go on either side of the spacer. Our intake manifold gaskets are not layered with paper like the factory gasket. They are engineered to stay intact when removed from your cylinder head.
