    It does drone, but not so much that it gives me or my wife a headache. Just loud enough to notice it's not stock at idle. If you've ever heard what an STI sounds like with the OEM catback off, it takes that sound and slightly tones it down, and obviously moves the sound to the rear of the car... but it only really gets that loud when you get on it. All in all, I would highly recommend this catback if you want that subie rumble without the drone headache. (I have yet to take it on the freeway though)
